Dave Rosas and Daniel Maggio Serve as Creative Directors for May 2026 Edition of "The Reel Underground" Film Club

Matthew Rosas was commissioned to design the logo and poster for the event.

Dave Rosas and his pal Daniel Maggio (Beethoven's Great Great Great Great Great Grandchild) are premiere members of "The Reel Underground", a film club in San Bernardino, CA ran by Future First Cinema Organization. As participants in the official committee, they were both chosen as Creative Directors for the May 2026 edition screenings. This marked the a triumphant comeback for the club after an almost half-year hiatus.

The pair co-wrote and co-directed two social media promos along with all promotional graphic material. Brian Saenz and Ana Rodak starred in the promos and Film Starts Here member, Matthew Rosas, designed the official logo, animation, as well as the two promotional posters.

An extended version of the two promos played on the day of the event to a roaring applause. That version featured a transition to a live performance aspect to end the video - an unprecedented occurence in Inland Empire filmmaking.
