RIGHT ON! Takes Best Short Film and the Director's Award at Riverside International

Dave accepted both awards for RIGHT ON! at The Box Riverside on April 12, 2026.

It was a big night for RIGHT ON! at the 2026 Riverside International Film Festival on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at The Box Riverside. The film took home two awards, Best Short Film and the Director's Award!

These are the 7th and 8th awards for RIGHT ON! during its festival run.

Festival Director, Ellie Dickerson, personally chose RIGHT ON! to receive the Director's Award, citing its inspiring and hopeful nature, while Best Short Film was shared with Mark Apicella for their film, "Grind".

Film Starts Here extends their deepest gratitude towards Dr. Harki Dhillon, Ellie Dickerson, and the rest of the RIFF team. Dave hopes to attend the festival every year, whether he screens or not!
